Shield of Faith Christian Center is a Holy Ghost, spirit filled church, in the body of believers of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In 1980 our church started out as a 100 member congregation. Today, we are a church family of over 1200 bible believing Christians in Pomona California. Our mother church is the headquarters for over 500 church international affiliation , which has planted Christian churches in Africa, Europe, the south pacific, Mexico and Asia. We have plans to plant churches in South America as well.
As an organization of Christian churches we have been called by God to plant Churches world wide. Shield of Faith Christian Center of Pomona California is a mission based congregation, sending ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ out to remote parts of the world to preach the word of God.

In the local church we have services such as bible study, Sunday morning worship, intercessory prayer and Sunday school. We frequently hold Gospel concerts on Sunday Mornings to reach out to the people in our surrounding neighborhoods. Our church has a strong focus on youth ministry and events including youth day, the boys and girls club, christian concerts for the youth, the New Delegation Choir and fundraisers to pay for trips to places like Magic Mountain and Disneyland.
